The shooting, which took place around 12:30 a.m., happened in an area where basketball fans were celebrating the team’s victory. The police believe the incident was triggered by a drug deal gone wrong. Among the injured, one was identified as one of the suspected shooters, and the rest were bystanders who were not involved in the drug deal. Approximately 20 rounds were fired at the scene, located about a mile away from Ball Arena where the Nuggets had defeated the Miami Heat the previous night.
