The criminal case against the ex-president Trump today is something happening for the first time in the history of American presidency. However,it is not the first time that the American president was involved in an extra marital affair to such an extent that both the involved president and the lady in question admitted about the same. Here is a similar story of Ex president Clinton where there was no criminality involved.
During President Clinton’s tenure, the affair of the President with his own Intern was in the news. This had caught the attention of the entire world. This relationship/affair was initially not accepted by the President but later had to accept when he got exposed in a very candid way. Here is the reproduction of the same story appearing in ‘Quotes Humor’ with the title-“Monica Lewinsky Husband”.
Very interesting story to read:-
Monica Lewinsky Husband: In the late 1990s, Monica Lewinsky was just entering adulthood, just old enough to purchase alcoholic beverages in a bar. She was the subject of tasteless late-night monologues, and her character was mocked in the mainstream media and by private people, all because she was one-half of one of the most famous extramarital relationships in the history of the United States political leadership.
Nanette Burstein, a filmmaker, and director interrogate Bill Clinton on why he started the affair, given his high and powerful position in society. According to him, “no one ever sits down and decides, “I believe I’m going to take a very reckless risk,” The situation is detrimental to my family, my nation, and the individuals with whom I collaborate.
When Lewinsky was arrested, she was working as an intern for Jennifer Palmieri, who was then working as a special assistant to the White House chief of staff. Following that, Palmieri moved on to work as the communications director for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in 2016 and 2017.
Bill Clinton expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that Lewinsky’s name had become associated with the affair — often referred to as the Monica Lewinsky controversy — and expressed regret that her life had been defined by it.
He strongly rejected it both personally and publicly, as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recounts in Hulu’s Hillary documentary. When news of Lewinsky’s affair with President Clinton first emerged, he disputed it both privately and publicly (“I did not have sexual relations with that woman,” he infamously claimed in a January 1998 news conference). President Clinton informed his wife that everything had been a huge misunderstanding before the first press stories came out. The answer was “convincing” to Clinton, according to her in Hillary, who added that she found it “convincing”. “He said there was nothing to it, it’s not true, I may have been too kind to her and may have given her too much attention,” Clinton claimed in Hillary.
This evening’s guests include Tina Brown, the renowned magazine editor who in 1999 published the first interview with Hillary Clinton about the affair in Talk magazine, and who is expected to express her appreciation for how polite Lewinsky has been when they talk later in the evening. Gay Talese, while savoring a fillet mignon, remarks aloud to his tablemates on how much slimmer she seems to be. In response to the rousing standing ovation given to Lewinsky, Calvin Trillin, another pillar of New York’s media elite, gets to his feet.
Beanie Feldstein, who portrays Monica Lewinsky in the 10-part series and who has been carrying a copy of Lewinsky’s book in her bag for months, is one newcomer. She is sitting next to Lewinsky and will appear in all ten episodes. Across the room is Sarah Paulson, who so effectively portrays Tripp in the show–with her towering stance and the cadence of her speech–that some moments bring back painful memories of Monica Lewinsky.
After signing an affidavit claiming she and President Clinton never had a sexual connection (she has alleged that he encouraged her to do so), President Clinton denied it in a deposition taken for a different legal action the following month. Although it didn’t take long for President Clinton’s version of events to come crashing down, it was clear by February 1998—thanks in part to the headline-making, secretly recorded confessions Lewinsky made to her former coworker Linda Tripp—that the president’s affairs with his intern were a reality.
