Bad Bunny Breaks Record With Historic Residency Finale and Amazon Music Livestream

Bad Bunny wrapped up his 31-night residency at San Juan’s iconic El Choli arena on Sunday with a spectacular four-hour finale that had fans in Puerto Rico — and around the world — on their feet.

The Puerto Rican superstar filled the night with big surprises. He performed an emotional duet with salsa legend Marc Anthony, lit up the stage with reggaeton duo Jowell & Randy, and paid tribute to Puerto Rico’s rich culture and history.

The finale, streamed live under the title “Una Más” on Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Twitch, has now broken records as the most-watched single-artist performance in Amazon Music history. While Amazon hasn’t shared the exact numbers, it confirmed the show set a new benchmark for viewership.

During his heartfelt closing speech, Bad Bunny thanked fans, his parents, and his island:

“I have always had the same passion and love for what I do. I promise I will never change. I love you, Puerto Rico. I love you, mom and dad. No matter what problems you face, love will always be the solution.”

Partnership With Amazon to Support Puerto Rico

This record-breaking livestream is just the beginning. Bad Bunny has entered a multi-year partnership with Amazon, working closely with his Good Bunny Foundation. Together, they aim to support Puerto Rico through initiatives in education, technology, agriculture, and economic development.

Amazon Music’s Rocío Guerrero said the partnership is about more than music:

“By combining music, Amazon technologies, commerce, and community programs, we’re engaging global audiences while strengthening Puerto Rican communities.”

Star-Studded Night of Guest Performances

Like many nights in his residency, the finale was filled with special guests. Ñengo Flow and Jowell y Randy joined him for the fan-favorite “Safaera”, while Dei V and RaiNao performed powerful duets. Arcángel and De La Ghetto also jumped in for a fiery rendition of “Acho PR.”

To close the night, Bad Bunny delivered one of the most emotional moments of his career. With the Puerto Rican flag projected on the ceiling, he and Marc Anthony performed “Preciosa” — a timeless anthem written in 1937 as a love letter to Puerto Rico.

The finale wasn’t just a concert — it was a celebration of Puerto Rican pride, culture, and global impact.
