Even Hollywood’s biggest stars have their fan moments—and Brad Pitt just shared his!
While promoting his new movie F1: The Movie, Brad stopped by the popular New Heights podcast hosted by NFL brothers Jason and Travis Kelce. During the chat, the Oscar-winning actor reflected on his early days in Hollywood and dropped a surprising confession: he was totally starstruck by Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon when he met them on the set of Thelma & Louise in 1991.
“When I first met Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon, I was… yeah,” Brad admitted with a laugh. “I got over it quickly, though.”
And it’s a good thing he did—Thelma & Louise became Brad’s breakout film. He played JD, a charming drifter who woos Geena Davis’ character, shares a steamy scene with her, and then runs off with the women’s cash.
In a past interview, Pitt also praised Davis, saying, “Geena was sweet, kind, and delicate… she really took care of me during that scene.” At the time, he was just starting out, and that experience clearly stuck with him.
Since then, Brad’s career has soared with major hits like Seven, Moneyball, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. But Thelma & Louise remains a fan-favorite—and clearly a sentimental one for him, too.
Now at 61, Pitt is back in the spotlight with F1: The Movie, where he plays a retired Formula 1 driver making a comeback while mentoring a young rookie. The film is now playing in theaters worldwide.
So yes, even Brad Pitt has starstruck moments—and honestly, who wouldn’t be in awe of Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon?
