Farhan Akhtar, the Bollywood actor-director, proudly shared pictures and videos from his older daughter Shakya Akhtar’s graduation ceremony at UK’s Lancaster University. The event was attended by Farhan Akhtar, Shakya’s mother Adhuna Akhtar, and her grandparents Javed Akhtar, Honey Irani, Shabani Azmi, and Farhan Akhtar’s wife Shibani Dandekar. Farhan expressed his joy and congratulated Shakya on her achievement, emphasizing the significance of celebrating together as a family. He mentioned his other daughter Akira Akhtar and sister Zoya Akhtar, who couldn’t attend the ceremony, in his caption.
Zoya Akhtar, Shakya’s aunt, left a comment on Farhan’s post, expressing her excitement and congratulating her niece. Farhan’s co-star Arjun Rampal also took the opportunity to extend his congratulations and wish Shakya luck for her future endeavors.
In a separate post, Farhan Akhtar shared images from his trip to London with Shakya and his wife Shibani Dandekar. The pictures captured their happy moments together, and Farhan described their outing as a “lazy luncheon in sunny London.”
On the work front, Farhan Akhtar announced his upcoming project, “Jee Le Zaara,” which he will be directing. He made this announcement on the 20th anniversary of his debut directorial film, “Dil Chahta Hai.”
