Justin Bieber’s New Album Celebrates Hailey’s Beauty Icon Status | Allure
Justin Bieber is back with Swag — his first solo album in over four years — and he’s celebrating the big moment with his biggest supporter: wife Hailey Bieber.
Released on July 11, Swag is being called Justin’s most honest and personal album to date. And according to a source close to the project, Hailey played a huge role behind the scenes, encouraging Justin every step of the way.
“Hailey helped Justin trust himself,” the source told PEOPLE. “She stood by his side the whole time and supported his vision for the album. It’s the artist she’s always known — now the world gets to see it too.”
The 21-track album blends R&B, pop, and experimental sounds, and features live vocals and instruments for a raw, stripped-down feel. Collaborators include artists like Gunna and Sexyy Red. But what sets Swag apart isn’t just the music — it’s the freedom behind it.
After parting ways with longtime manager Scooter Braun in 2023, Justin took full creative control for the first time in his career. He chose his own producers and musicians, shaping an album that reflects where he is in life right now — not just as an artist, but as a person.
“He’s no longer chasing the ‘perfect’ single,” a source told Rolling Stone. “This time, Justin created music he truly believes in — and it shows.”
Interestingly, despite their split, Braun showed public support, calling Swag “beautiful” and “raw” on social media.
This album also marks a major personal milestone for Justin: it’s his first solo release since becoming a father. One source described the music as “darker, more vulnerable, and less polished” than past albums — but not depressing.
Fans seem to agree: this is the real Justin Bieber, and he’s never sounded more like himself.
