The 2022 Oscars are finally here, so the time has arrived to find out which of your favorite films and stars will win an Academy Award.
The show kicks off Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live on ABC.
Heading into the 94th Academy Awards, Jane Campion’s “The Power of the Dog” leads the pack with 12 total nominations, while “Dune” follows closely behind with 10. “Belfast” and “West Side Story” are tied with seven apiece, and “King Richard” has six.
This year, not all 23 competitive categories will be handed out during the live telecast as normal. David Rubin, president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), the governing body behind the Academy Awards, announced in February that eight categories would be presented prior to the show. Those segments will be edited down and cut into the live telecast.
Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer and Regina Hall have been tapped to host this year’s Academy Awards, marking the first time the Oscars have had a host since 2018 and the first time ever that three women have hosted the show.
The star-studded list of Oscar presenters includes Lady Gaga, Mila Kunis, Simu Liu, Lupita Nyong’o, Elliot Page, Rosie Perez, John Travolta and many more.
Performances of this year’s best original song nominees will include the likes of Beyoncé, sister-brother duo Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, Reba McEntire and Sebastián Yatra. Van Morrison was unable to perform due to tour commitments. Additionally, the cast of “Encanto” are set to perform the viral hit “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.”
Danny Glover will receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, while Samuel L. Jackson, Elaine May and Liv Ullmann are receiving honorary Oscars.
Check out the full winners list below, which will be continually updated throughout the night:
