Aiden Markram (41) and Heinrich Klaasen (36) took the hosts to a good position but they kept losing wickets and were not able to finish off the match. Earlier, Rinku Singh and Nitish Rana played crucial knocks as Kolkata Knight Riders went on to post a total of 171/9 against SunRisers Hyderabad in their IPL 2023 match. Nitish Rana got out after a 31-ball 42, while Rinku perished after a well-crafted 46. Marco Jansen had struck twice in the second over to dismiss Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Venkatesh Iyer, respectively.
