The Eras Tour wasn’t just successful — it was historic. They had just reworked the entire three-and-a-half-hour show to include new songs from The Tortured Poets Department, her 11th album, released mid-tour. When one dancer reads the bonus amount out loud — censored in the footage — the room fills with gasps and stunned reactions.
While the exact figures aren’t revealed on screen, reports paint a clear picture. According to earlier coverage, Swift distributed an estimated $197 million in bonuses throughout the tour. The recipients included everyone from dancers and musicians to caterers, lighting and sound technicians, truck drivers, riggers, carpenters, wardrobe teams, and venue security staff.
One trucking company CEO later shared that each driver received a $100,000 check along with a handwritten letter from Swift — far above the industry norm. He described the gesture as “life-changing.”
The tour’s massive success also pushed Swift’s net worth into billionaire territory, according to Forbes, largely due to the value of her music catalog. Earlier this year, she reportedly spent $360 million to buy back the rights to her early recordings — a move she credits directly to her fans.
