Todd and Julie Chrisley detail moment they learned of Trump’s pardon | Fox News
Back in 2022, Todd Chrisley was sentenced to 12 years and Julie to 7 years for bank and tax fraud. Both served two years before being granted full pardons by Trump on May 28, 2025.
While Todd briefly addressed the media during a press conference on May 30, Julie has stayed out of the spotlight—until now.
In a preview of the upcoming interview shared with USA TODAY, Julie emotionally recalls the moment she heard the news behind bars:
“I just started busting out crying… most news in prison is bad, so they were all looking at me like, ‘Are you OK?’ I said, ‘I’m getting out of here!’”
Who Else Will Be There?
Joining Todd and Julie in the interview are their children Savannah (27) and Grayson (19). Savannah, who previously appeared on Lara Trump’s show in May, is expected to share her perspective on the family’s emotional journey.
What to Expect
The interview will cover their reaction to the pardon, time behind bars, and what comes next for the family. According to Fox News, the Chrisleys will also discuss their future plans.
A Quick Look Back at the Chrisleys
The Chrisleys rose to fame with their hit reality series Chrisley Knows Best, which aired from 2014 to 2023 on USA Network. The show gave viewers a peek into their lavish lifestyle in Atlanta and Nashville, along with plenty of family drama.
Todd was known for his bold personality and described himself as a self-made millionaire with a background in real estate. The couple’s show spawned multiple spin-offs, including Growing Up Chrisley, but all were eventually canceled after their legal troubles.
