Sachin Tendulkar, the renowned cricketer known as the “God of Cricket,” has an impressive car collection that reflects his passion for automobiles. Among his notable cars is the Maruti 800, which was his first car. Considered a dream car in the 1980s, Tendulkar expressed his attachment to this vehicle during an interview. He also owned a Maruti Esteem after the Maruti 800.
Tendulkar’s collection includes the BMW i8, the flagship sports car from BMW, valued at ₹2.54 crore. This car features an electric motor along with a 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 520 Nm of torque and 357bhp of power. He also possesses an Audi Q7, a luxurious SUV, equipped with a 4.2-liter TDI diesel engine.
The BMW M6 Grand Coupe, which was initially launched in India, was first delivered to Tendulkar. As a brand ambassador for BMW in India, he has several cars from the company, including the BMW X5M SUV, which he purchased in 2002.
Tendulkar received a Ferrari 360 Modena Formula One Champion Edition as a gift from Formula One driver Michael Schumacher in 2002. However, he sold it in 2011. Interestingly, a Bollywood film titled “Ferrari Ki Sawaari” was inspired by this car model.
Additionally, Fiat Palio presented Tendulkar with a bright yellow-colored car with a 1.6-liter petrol engine as a gift during its launch in the early 2000s, priced at ₹5,00,000.
