The daughters and ex-wife of music mogul Russell Simmons have accused him of abusive and alarming behavior, according to a report. On Father’s Day, Simmons’ daughters, Ming and Aoki Simmons, and their mother, Kimora Lee Simmons, took to Instagram to voice their grievances against him. Ming, the eldest daughter, wished her mother a happy Father’s Day instead of her dad. In response, Russell Simmons shared screenshots on his Instagram stories of messages from other family members wishing him a happy Father’s Day. He also blamed his ex-wife for the family fallout. Aoki, the younger daughter, posted videos and messages showing FaceTime calls and text exchanges with her father where they argued and he made derogatory comments about her mother. She described him as “completely changed” and shared recordings where he appeared to be screaming and behaving erratically. Kimora also shared messages on social media, accusing Russell of threatening her kids’ lives and exhibiting abusive behavior. Russell Simmons has faced previous allegations of abuse, including rape and sexual assault, which he has denied. The daughters and ex-wife have raised concerns about his mental health and a significant change in his behavior.
